VP of Sales & Marketing

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leadership and driving strategy and growth across the company’s Sales and Marketing functions.  This role is critical in developing and implementing strategic initiatives as well as monitoring the team performance to ensure goals and metrics are met and/or exceeded. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Number one responsibility is to develop and manage the company’s sales growth strategy
  • Develop and manage assigned P&L forecast that supports annual company strategic objectives and initiatives
  • Design and execute marketing strategies that support 3rd party web business and supports growth of co-packing business
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for marketing and sales teams
  • Identify and work with 3rd party marketing companies to support strategies and initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and design new programs and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent degree (MBA or Master’s a plus) and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to develop staff through coaching, mentoring, training, setting goals and performance objectives
  • Experience with B2B and B2C
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
