Food/Beverage Science Technician

The Food/Beverage Science Technician will be responsible for performing standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical and/or chemical properties of liquid beverage products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers and vendors in all aspects of new product formulation and current product revision
  • Use R&D experience to create prototype samples for customer and internal review
  • Conduct sensory evaluations
  • Develop/validate nutrition/supplement facts labels and claims
  • Work with operations to create/update raw material/batch information for production runs
  • Assist quality department in creating and maintaining required documents including raw material and finished goods specifications and certifications
  • Conduct testing of finished product
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • 3 years’ experience in beverage and/or dietary supplement industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
  • Understanding of current beverage/nutritional supplements regulations
  • Experience with Genesis software
